Grand Animal Fair (Pashu Mela) in Bhopal

A grand animal fair was organized for cattle rearers in Madhya Pradesh. The event witnessed the presence of distinguished guests including Huzoor MLA Rameshwar Sharma, Mayor Malti Rai, and Director of Animal Husbandry Department Dr. R.K. Mehiya.

Highlights of the Event:

• Exhibition of high-yield improved breeds of cattle.
• Main Attraction: A calf raised completely without cow's milk (on milk replacers/feed), weighing over 250 kg at just 8 months of age.
• Various stalls were set up by companies displaying dairy-related equipment and feed breed improvement technologies.
• Farmers and cattle rearers from across the region participated to showcase their livestock.

The event served as a platform for knowledge exchange and promoting advanced animal husbandry practices in the region.
